Masonic Journeyman Program
Monroe District
Northfield Lodge #426 Free and Accepted Masons
|
Fellowship is one of the key elements of Masonry and we have programs
such as the Traveling Gavel that encourage it. However, we lack a program for
the lone Mason. We lack a program that supports and encourages fewer than
seven brethren to travel to different lodges, meet new brothers and experience
Masonry in a broader sense. To fill this void Northfield Lodge offers the
Masonic Journeyman Program. The Masonic Journeyman Program encourages
all Masons, alone or in groups of any size, to visit all 13 lodges in the Monroe
District. All that is needed is for a Mason to visit each of the 13 lodges in the
Monroe District, collect either the Master's signature and/or their lodge's seal in a
passport, log or book. Then show it to an elected officer of Northfield Lodge.
They'll sign your record and provide you the opportunity to purchase a Monroe
District Journeyman's pin. Northfield Journeyman Passports are available from
Northfield Lodge and its elected officers for $20, which includes the cost of the
pin. Pins can also be purchased separately for $5 by those who demonstrate
they have visited all 13 Monroe District Lodges.
